Remains of a painting on canvas measuring approximately 2 by 1 metres, very damaged, depicting Jesus taken down from the Cross. The original canvas was cut (perhaps to remove the most damaged part) along the contours of Jesus' body and sewn onto a white embroidered sheet. At present, the outline of Jesus' body with his face, legs and hands can barely be seen. The canvas was carried in procession supported by four women on Good Friday during the morning rites. In recent years it has been replaced by a copy. Uncertain dating but certainly before the 19th century.
