the wooden statue was purchased by Pasquale Santaniello in 1911 as reported to us by his nephew. The wooden work shows the Saint in a cassock with his eyes raised to the sky and a Crucifix in his right hand and a skull at his feet. On the head a halo and a girlanda of flowers adorns the statue. The girlanda has undergone changes over the years as documented by the photos from 1983 and 2024. At her feet there is a golden shrine containing a relic of the Saint.
