The painting on canvas is the work of Arnieri (the same who painted the canvases at the Sanctuary) and dates back to the same period (1918) as evidenced by the writing on the lower right side. It represents the Madonna della Carita' as it was before it was destroyed by the fire of 15 April 1928.
