Painting on canvas measuring approximately 2 by 1.5 metres, very damaged, depicting the meeting of Jesus with Veronica and another woman on the road to Golgotha. Veronica is depicted in the traditional gesture of offering a tablecloth to Jesus. At present the outlines of the people can barely be seen. The canvas was carried in procession supported by four women dressed in black on Good Friday during the morning rites (in the 1993 photo the figures were still clearly visible). In recent years it has been replaced by a copy. Uncertain dating but certainly before the 19th century.
