The altar appears to have been built (or perhaps restored) in 1914 as a devotion to the Commission as reported by an inscription at the base of the altar. Over the years it has been renovated several times by Frank Manfredi from Providence USA (1960s) and more recently by Giovanni Scibelli (in 2019). The status is perhaps from the 20s of the 20th century. The door of the tabernacle also from the early 1900s and cataloged by the Cultural Heritage at # 1500047462
